Look what's become of me,
My pride has all run out.
What I had has been run dry
and there's none left in the spout

How the years have passed
and now they seem a waste,
its life with unseen scars,
and one hell of a bitter taste.

I try to look ahead,
but no-one fits the mold,
I should practice some patience,
not put people on pedestals.

It's tearing me apart, I'm riddled with anxiety.
I'm still waiting on that someone who can make it all ok,
So fill my pride and take my breath away.

Another week goes by
Another breathless scream,
I can't see the light of day,
And the future in front of me.

But when I look behind,
I find I'm to old to feel this way,
I should walk along with wisdom,
not wander with a worried face.

But I'm so fucking bored, I'm fused to insanity.
I'm still waiting on that moment that will get me through the day.
So fill my lungs don't take my breath away.
